We stayed at Villa Tranquilla for a Retreat : “one week just for me” which included Meditation, Yoga & Self-development classes.

It was the perfect Place and we felt cosy and like home from the first moment.

Matthew and Christina gave us a very warm welcome and answered any of our questions immediately when needed.

Any of our clients has been deeply relaxed . We all would highly reccomend this wonderful piece of paradise and hopefully come back!

Posizione ottima per visitare la parte ovest di Creta con Balos, Falasarna e Elafonissi comode da raggiungere.

We stayed in May this year for a week with all our family to celebrate a special birthday. The villa was absolutely superb. Clean and beautifully decorated with a lovely garden and pool area. Nothing to fault. Matthew and his wife are excellent hosts and were on hand to answer any queries we had during our stay. He is quick to respond to messages. They even left us a few local goodies which were much appreciated. Thank you both. Highly recommend. We hope to return

Perfect place, with a great host. Exactly matches the pictures – very clean, everything you need for a week. Within the week it was even cleaned and fresh hand and pool towels provided. Matthew is very helpful and usually responds within a few minutes. We felt very comfortable. The beach is not far away, good bus connection to Chania. Some small restaurants nearby. You can also be louder because there are no direct neighbors nearby. All around a more than perfect accommodation for groups. We were ten people ages 20. Thanks for a great stay, Matthew – we would book again in a heartbeat!

Matthew’s place is the best. located in an olive Grove not far from the sea. The villa is as beautiful as the pictures, we were 3 adults and 6 kids and had plenty of room for everyone. Matthew was super accessible and eager to help. all and all great experience we would go there again with no hesitation.

Matthew is a perfect host. The house was lovely and in a perfect state and Matthew and his wife even gave us a room tour + a cute welcome basket. Will definitely book again when going to Crete!

The Villa is as good as it look in the photos and more. we stayed as a group of 3 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 children with enough private space for everyone and communal indoor and outdoor spaces to share. We could watch the kids play in the pool while we sat in the shaded patio or gather around either the indoor or outdoor dining table for a family meal.

A very nice, large, luxurious home for large companies 👌👌👌 A beautiful area around the house 🌴☀️ There were 7 adults and 4 teenagers there is enough space. The villa has everything we need 👌 The nearest neighbors are 100 meters away, so no one bothered us 😊, we rested for our pleasure 😎 The owner was always in touch 24/7 👍, and could provide everything you need, if anything 👍 Just recommend 👍👌👏

We had a lovely stay in Villa Tranquilla. The House was perfect, better than the photos , we were 2 Adults and 5 Kids ages 10 to 17. The pool is perfect, we had a hard time getting the kids out. Christina and Matthew welcomed us. Fantastic hosts. Everything one needs for the first day were in the house (soap, toilet paper Nespresso, shampoo, water, a bottle of wine etc.). Also there were plenty of towels, the beds are nice and comfortable. They had a cleaning service once and beds were changed. Nearby are a lot of good and not too expensive Restaurants, not so many tourists. We will definitely go there again. Thanking you for the perfect holiday Villa Tranquilla

We spent 2 weeks in the villa Tranquilla with friends and we really loved it.

Totally renovated , clean, well decorated , large swimming pool.

Well positioned to go to Chania , Réthymnon , Balos , Elafonisi.

Mathew the owner has been really helpful in the context of COVID, with support and information.

And Michalis the local contact was really present and support as well.

The villa is excellent, big enough for eleven people, lovely quiet surroundings (far from any neighbours, so you will not be distracted by any neighbours). All rooms spacious, clean, with fresh towels and linen. Very nice design and comfortable bathrooms. Very spacious kitchen with huge kitchen table and big sofa in living with TV. Internet connection fast and available everywhere, even in the pool area. The pool was very clean with crystal clean water and safe design. The patio was excellent and we enjoyed gas barbecue cooking a lot. There is always some sofa, tables, chairs, everywhere to sit down and chill with a drink. The fridge is big and equipped with ice maker. There was coffee maker and milk grinder, so we all enjoyed fresh coffee every day. You will definitely enjoy this villa and have a nice comfortable, exclusive time there. To get to the villa you will need some guide from the owner so ask them to draw you some plan how to reach it. I suggest to rent a car and visit Crete by car. The parking area is ready to accommodate four cars at least. We had lovely time and will definitely book it again in the future. The stay in villa made our holidays happy. The owner is very kind, helpful, answers quickly and definitely is reliable.

Loved the spacious villa with views of the sea, olive groves, and mountains. Family enjoyed the pool and gardens and great location full of privacy yet only 2 min away from the market and bakery. Plan to return again.

Villa Tranquilla is a fantastic, well-equipped, beautifully styled house. It is extremely spacious and immaculately clean. We appreciated the air conditioning throughout the villa, and the abundance of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Our children loved the gardens and pool, and we were grateful for the extra games/pool toys available. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. A welcome pack of wine, bread and olives was gratefully received. Our hosts were prompt at communicating prior to, during and after our stay. Michael, who greeted us, was extremely helpful and friendly, and offered great suggestions about the local area. We would definitely recommend the villa and hope to return in the future.

This is wonderful and quiet place to relax with all the amenities you needed: A big garden surrounded by olive trees, a brilliant clear pool, and two shaded terraces to relax. The kitchen had all equipment we could dream of, and there was plenty of space to sit either inside or outside the house. Our host was very welcoming showing us around the property . He was also a great help to us suggesting a lot of good places and restaurants to visit. All his suggestions we were able to follow were “top top” as described.

A stay at Villa Tranquilla was a wonderful time spent in Crete. We were there in 2 families ie a total of 8 people. After arriving in the villa, the host waited for us with a nice drink and it turned out that we were the first guests in the history of Villa Tranquilla. The house itself and the property are impressive. Everyone had a lot of space. Everything is new and clean. We liked the beautifully decorated interior. A very nice terrace with a sofa and a dinner table allowed us to relax and spend time outdoors with a view of the sea. The pool was very nice clean with full infrastructure around and ozonated water was a respite during hot weather. The host gave us all the information and was in constant contact with us, advise which places to visit and where the best restaurants are. During the stay we had cleaning the villa and exchanging bedding as well as cleaning the pool. Service at the highest level. We highly recommend everyone staying at Villa Tranquilla.
